Model 1895 in .405 Winchester A new project! No work has yet been done on the rifle. These are the "Before" photos. This rifle was recently purchased by my friend Bob. The schnabel forend will be reshaped to more closely match the contour found on original 1895 rifles. The stock will be stripped of its factory finish and an oil finish will be applied. The gold trigger will be blued or a replacement installed. Of course, the action will be smoothed and polished, and the trigger pull will be tuned and adjusted. A red recoil pad will be installed. When the work on the rifle is finished we'll be sure to post some "After" photos. - Todd |
